RAND WATER UPDATE

Meanwhile, Rand Water updated that technical meetings between them and the Gauteng Metros (City of Ekurkhleni, City of Johannesburg and City of Tshwane) are continuing in the New Year.

The bulk water supplier indicated that no challenges were experienced from the bulk supply during the festive season, and all systems were stable.

“Rand Water is pumping at full capacity, however, noting a slight increase in consumption this week. As industries and businesses will commence operations from next week onwards, Rand Water implores all its customers to continue to request their consumers and citizens to continue to use water sparingly,” the entity appealed.
