Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola made the announcement at the launch of National Safer Festive Season in the Western Cape on Saturday.

The Rate My Service online platform will give an opportunity to members of the public to respond to a predefined questionnaire, to rate the SAPS service.

Masemola says that the service aims to improve and enhance service delivery.

The new service is available online to all individuals with South African borders.

“We encourage all people to rate every single service they receive from us so that we can have a clear picture of our performance in an effort to enhance our service offering,” says Masemola.

According to police, an individual will be able to rate the service while they are at the police station or a later stage.
