Petrol and diesel prices: How much you will pay at the pumps from TODAY

The new petrol and diesel price changes for January 2023 came into effect at midnight on Tuesday in what was welcome relief for Mzansi motorists.

The price of petrol dropped by R2.06 per litre for both 93 and 95 octanes, while the 0.05% diesel price decreased by R2.69 per litre and the 0.005% diesel price by R2.81.

Petrol is now the cheapest it’s been since February 2022 when Russia’s invasion of Ukraine triggered a spike in oil prices.
