What did the spokesperson for Magalies Water say?

David Magae, a spokesperson for Magalies Water, expressed his concerns.

“Demand is now surpassing our ability to supply. Regrettably, the reservoir’s water levels have plummeted, and as a consequence, some customers will face low water pressure or even intermittent water shortages.”

In response to this critical situation, Magalies Water has activated water demand management strategies to sustain the existing water supply and avert a complete breakdown of the water distribution system.

Magae also revealed that they are actively in discussions with the City of Tshwane to explore alternative solutions to alleviate the current water crisis.
