Childhood dream come true: Lady Du opens own beauty salon
Queen of Yanos, Lady Du is about to take over the beauty space with her new salon called ‘Wawa La Beauty’.

Duduzile Ngwenya, popularly known as Lady Du is making boss money moves with by expanding into the beauty business.
The Yanos DJ took to her Instagram and Twitter pages by letting her fans know she’s launching her beauty salon Wawa La Beauty.

LADY DU THE BEAUTY BABE
Being a popular DJ requires a lot of travelling and performing in different paces and cities, and if you’re lucky, that’s different counties.
With her hectic schedule, Lady Du decided to make her childhood dreams come true by venturing into the beauty space.
”I don’t think you guys know all the things I studied, beauty being one of them, after school I studied beauty, travelled the world working on a cruise ship, and my biggest dream was to own a salon,” she told IOL.
“Music captured me, I focused on it, but now that I can do both, I took my savings and bought a house in the hood so I don’t have to pay rent, I wanted to bring the Sandton experience back to the hood,” she continued.
We love seeing the popular DJ empower the youth through job creation.

A YOUTH DRIVEN ALBUM
In early November 2022, Lady Du announced that her new album was produced by the youth, saying she wanted to teach them about the music industry, and the business of it.
“My album is produced by kids!! I have no famous producers, I’m teaching kids the business!!!! They all get equal royalties as me!!,” tweeted the DJ.
“Own your things I beg you!!! What someone else can do for you, you can do for yourself with the right connections. STUDY THE GAME, FORGET THE FAME,” the DJ added.
We guess it’s onward and upwards for the famous DJ.
