Heavy rain has wreaked havoc in parts of KwaZulu-Natal. The eThekwini Municipality has released a list of roads affected by the rain.

The eThekwini Municipality has released a list of roads that are affected by the heavy rain in and around Durban.
The list is accurate as of Monday night, 16 October 2023.

Meanwhile, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) warned about heavy and disruptive rain along the KwaZulu-Natal coast and its adjacent interior, particularly the southern coast.
The weather service issued an orange level 6 warning for disruptive rain which is valid for Monday, 16 October 2023.
SAWS said scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers are expected over KwaZulu-Natal.
“More than 50mm of rain is expected which may lead to flooding of roads, bridges and settlements,” the weather service said.
