EFF leader Julius Malema had a paparazzi moment in Liberia where security officials had their hands full trying to avoid a stampede.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema, also commonly known as the Commander in Chief (CIC), had a paparazzi moment in Liberia while attending the inauguration of the country’s newly elected president Joseph Boakai on Monday.

Timeslive reported that security officials and EFF spokesperson Vuyani Pambo had their hands full trying to avoid a stampede and had to push people back to prevent them from reaching Malema. They wanted to take pictures of him and with him.

During the paparazzi frenzy, the red berets leader was all smiles enjoying the moment. See the video below.

‘SON OF THE SOIL CELEBRATED ALL OVER THE CONTINENT’ – EFF

In social media post on Space X (formerly known as Twitter), the EFF party wrote: “Son of Africa and Commander in Chief of the EFF @Julius_S_Malema is celebrated all over the continent!”

“The people of Liberia remain inspired as the CIC departs from the inauguration of his Excellency, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai in Liberia. Tomorrow the CIC is in Ghana! Economic Freedom Will Be Championed from the South to the Northern tip of Africa!”

‘MAKE THE MOST NOISE AGAINST CORRUPTION’ – MALEMA TELLS EFF LIBERIA MEMBERS

Malema told members of EFF Liberia to make the “most noise” against corruption. 

“We are in parliament to make sure democracy works. Democracy can only work if the resources of the state are looked after. How do we ensure that? Parliament must always watch over the executive on how it uses state resources.”

“If it uses state resources for family benefit [or] friends’ benefit, then EFF MPs must make sure they make the loudest noise against corruption,” Malema said.
