City Power’s new toll-free line improves customer service, handling outages over 24 hours and prolonged area-wide interruptions.

City Power introduces a toll-free line to enhance customer service, promptly addressing power issues. Starting Tuesday, it handles calls for outages beyond 24 hours and area-wide interruptions exceeding four hours.

Isaac Mangena, the utility’s spokesperson, underscores the toll-free line’s importance for effective issue resolution. Operating daily from 6:00 to 18:00, it serves as an escalation platform for extended supply interruptions.

Utility unveils toll-free communication line

“The new toll-free line is part of the power utility’s efforts for effective resolution and communication. It manages inquiries on interruptions, operating daily between 6:00 and 18:00,” he stated.

Mangena recommends having reference numbers ready when calling the toll-free line. The number, 0800-003-156, provides a direct link between residents and City Power for convenient communication during critical situations.
