Saturday 18 November and Sunday 19 November 2023 are the two days dedicated to voter registration for the 2024 elections.

The Electoral Commission of South Africa is entrusted to manage free and fair elections.

Many say the 2024 elections are as important as the 1994 elections, which were the country’s first democratic as it turned over a new leaf. Political analysts and polls have indicated that South Africa’s ruling party, the ANC, which has been in power since 1994, will not get above 50% which is needed to win the elections.

Politicians have been on the ground this week urging citizens to go out and register to vote. So, here is everything you need to know.
