‘McNyandas’ that’s how renowned broadcaster and author, Eusebius McKaiser used to affectionately refer to himself and his partner Nduduzo Nyanda.
Many got to know Nyanda through McKaiser who sadly passed away from a suspected epileptic seizure in Johannesburg on Tuesday, 30 May. Here are few things we know about McKaiser’s partner.
FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT NDUDUZO NYANDA
- Nyanda was born in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
- He matriculated from King Edward VII School in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
- Nyanda holds a BA Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Urban planning politics, two Post Grad qualifications specialising in Urban & Town Planning and a Master’s Degree in Development Planning from the University of Witwatersrand.
- The gym fanatic is a former Uber country manager in SA. His role involved focusing on managing the operational functions of the SA business.
- He has worked in research in the area of spatial planning with the South African Chair in Spatial Analysis and City Planning.
FUNERAL DETAILS YET TO BE ANNOUNCED
Details regarding a memorial service for McKaiser and his funeral are yet to be announced by his family.
