Eskom reduces load shedding on Wednesday – Here’s the latest
Eskom has provided an updated regarding load shedding that will be implemented for the rest of the week. Here’s the updated schedule below..

Eskom says ut will implement Stage 2 load shedding from 16:00 on Wednesday until 05:00 on Thursday.
Eskom had previously announced that it wiould implement Stage 2 and 3 load shedding alternatively until hursday, 14 December.
LOAD SHEDDING REDUCED ON WEDNESDAY
In a brief statement, Eskom said Stage 2 loadshedding will resume at 16:00 today until 05:00 on Thursday. Thereafter, loadshedding will be suspended from 05:00 until 16:00 on Thursday.
“The pattern of suspending loadshedding from 05:00 until 16:00 and implementing Stage 2 loadshedding from 16:00 until 05:00 will be implemented daily until Sunday afternoon,” the embattled power utility said.
LATEST ON BREAKDOWNS
The power utility said unplanned outages are currently at 13 375MW and planned maintenance is 7 820MW of generation capacity.
A total of 2 000MW will be returned to service by Friday.
