Three foreign nationals were arrested and charged with murder after a businessman was MURDERED this morning while closing up his establishment

The 45-year-old businessman and owner of By Hoek Lounge, Tumelo Phiri, was murdered this morning, 5 February, at around 01:05 while closing his establishment.
Reports say that a fight broke out at the lounge earlier, and when Phiri intervened, the suspect threatened to come back for him.

Businessman murdered after a fight
Phiri reportedly was closing the By Hoek Lounge when the suspect approached him and shot him several times.
A bystander was also hit in the hand.
In response, the police at Mangaung launched a search for the suspect and arrested a 30-year-old man in Mafora, Mangaung.
They also arrested two accomplices, aged 26 and 33.

The authorities charged the three foreign nationals with murder and attempted murder.
They were also charged with defeating the ends of justice and violating the Immigration Act.
They are scheduled to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court on Tuesday, 7 February.
