HORRIFIC: Body parts of missing 7-year-old found

Emergency services responded to the scene after an SMS was received containing the location of a missing 7-year-old’s body parts in Stranger, KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday, 8 January.

Missing boy’s body parts found

A seven-year-old boy was reported missing in the Stranger area a few days ago.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) investigated the incident, but no results were obtained at the time.

Earlier on Sunday, a missing person’s relative allegedly received an SMS with information on the location of the missing boy’s remains.

The SAPS K9 SAR, along with the Medi Response search and rescue division responded to the incident.

K9s Dante, Troy, and Odi searched the area and discovered several body parts thought to belong to the missing child.

The area was searched again to gather more evidence, and the case was turned over to local SAPS.
