Bonang Matheba, better known just by her first name, has got the internet in a bit of a tizz. And no, not because she’s been forced to deny claims that she is allegedly involved in ‘tax fraud‘.

The star features on the September cover of GQ magazine under the theme the “Power Issue”. The issue features artists, personalities and iconic figures of South African popular culture who are at the top of their game and celebrate their success.

It’s pretty… err… powerful cover and a little bit historic. It’s the first solo female cover from GQ SA in more than eight years. In typical Queen B fashion, Bonang has brought the sass and she’s been Tweeting up a storm about it.

For the cover, Bonang is the magazine’s sole focus on the front page. No headlines, just Bonang: The ultimate power move!

Her adoring supporters have showered her with love (some not so PG) and looking at some of the photos, it’s easy to see why.

Can you deal? Bonang is best known as being the first first South African celebrity to launch an online reality show, “B*Dazzled” and the first black South African to feature on the cover of a FHM Magazine SA.

The issue will drop on Monday, 27 August.
