Police are still looking for relatives after a body of a man who was found in a tank at a sewerage plant LAST YEAR.

The body of a man who was found in a tank at a sewerage plant LAST YEAR has still not been claimed by relatives.
Police are urgently looking for the family members of the man.
According to police spokesperson Captain Stephen Thakeng, nobody has come forward to claim the deceased. Relatives are therefore wanted.
“On 9 September 2021, at about 13:00, the body of an unknown African man was found in one of the tanks.
“The man could be 20 to 30 years old. He was found wearing a black jacket, black trousers, black half-boots, and had a grey Puma shoulder bag on his back.”

He added that an inquest was registered after the man was found at the Thabong Sewerage Plant.

“Nobody has come forward to claim the deceased, and the body is lying at Welkom Government Mortuary.”
