He pursued his high school education at Pro Arte and subsequently enrolled at Tshwane University of Technology, formerly known as Pretoria Technikon. Aubrey successfully obtained a national diploma in drama in December 2000 upon graduation.

Aubrey’s interest in acting started when he was a teen. He is popular for appearing in the SABC2 soap opera Muvhango as Pelo Mohale. In the latest developments, Aubrey was announced in 2023 to join the popular South African Soap Opera, Generations: The Legacy playing Khumo Moroka. Poo’s character Khumo Moroka is a high-powered scion of the Moroka family, who is responsible for running their mining operations.
