Peeps grill woman who tried to return worn out Woolies slippers

A young woman has gone viral on social media after she shared a video of herself trying to return a pair of slippers to Woolies because they were worn out after only three months. In the clip, she can be seen demanding a refund from a cashier while complaining about how poor the quality of the slippers are.

Many social media users have slammed the woman for shouting at the manager and for trying to get a refund after she clearly wore the slippers frequently. A lot of people have said that her actions are in bad taste while some have actually sided with her.

Woman goes viral after demanding refund for worn out Woolies slippers

Some people may be taking the saying “the customer is always right” a little too far. One TikToker has been accused of doing exactly that after she shared a video of herself demanding a refund for a pair of worn out Woolworths slippers.

In a TikTok clip that has already gotten over 12 000 views, a woman can be seen shouting at a Woolworths manager about the black slippers which she says she has only worn for three months.

The post received man comments from people who are shocked at her behaviour. Many of them called her out for shouting at the manager.

@gladp5 defended the manager and said:

“She is shouting at the poor guy as if he is the one manufacturing these shoes. Yes, we have a right to complain and get the best value for our money, but…”

While @mavishlongwane543 commented:

“Sleepwear is for inside the house; it looks like she was wearing them as shoes or sandals.”
