Man wants refund for attending wedding after friend cheats on wife

‘I heard from a reliable source that wena sewuyajola, if that is the case, all I’m asking for is the refund for my costs of attending your wedding,’ he told his cheating friend.

A South African man, Mlamli Baliso has gone viral on Twitter after sharing a conversation between him and what can now be considered his former friend. According to the WhatsApp messages, Mlamli wants a refund of R10k from his friend which he spent on attending his wedding. The reason for this is because shortly after the wedding, his friend started cheating on his wife — something @BalisoMlamli just does not agree with.

The post has left social media users baffled as they discuss his bizarre refund demand and his moral compass.

Not many men will stand up to a friend who is unfaithful to his wife but one very peculiar South African man has. Taking to Twitter, the man Mlamli Baliso shared screenshots of the conversation with his married friend.

According to the chats which took place on WhatsApp, Mlamli demanded a refund of R10k for attending his friends wedding after discovering that that very same friend is now cheating on his wife.

“Mamela man, let me get straight to the point, I heard from a reliable source that wena sewuyajola (you are messing around) if that is the case, all I’m asking for is the refund for my costs of attending your wedding,” he writes to his friend who responded with a voice note.

While he didn’t say exactly what his friend responded to his request, judging by his tweets following the discussion, his friend was not willing to refund him.
