A South African woman found herself trending after she shared a controversial — and for some inspirational — post about finding God again. In the viral TikTok clip, she can be seen setting some clothes alight. According to the post, she was burning all of the revealing clothes she used to wear before she turned to Christ.
While many wished her well in the comment section, others wondered why she couldn’t just donate the clothes to someone who needs it.

Woman burns sexy clothes after finding God
A young lady sparked a bit of backlash on TikTok recently after she shared a video of herself setting some of her clothes alight.
At first many wondered why she would do that but then realised that she was getting rid of the clothes she wore before turning over a new leaf and giving her life to God.
The clothes were mainly revealing items which she wore on night outs and to parties.

“Decided to stop being a lukewarm Christian but to live in truth and spirit,” she wrote in the caption. Take a look at the clip below:

Mixed reactions galore
Many in the comment section were glad to see that she has decided to take this spiritual journey. Others however questioned the fact that she burned the clothes instead of simply giving them away.
“Loving the way you transformed yourself to way and walk of God’s light. What happened for you to take this walk,” one person wrote.
“How I wish you you donated those clothes. Congratulations on your new journey.”
In a clip she later explained that she didn’t think impoverished people would need those kinds of clothes. She also added that she didn’t want to enable anyone to wear those clothes to parties and clubs.
