South Africans continue to poke fun at a warning of a terrorist attack in Sandton…and even infamous “influencer” Coconut Kelz has something to say about it.

But the award-winning social media star is not taking her chances – the blonde bombshell revealed that she booked the first * economy-class * flight out of Johannesburg!

‘GET READY WITH ME – TERRORIST EDITION’

Ever since the US Embassy sounded the alarm on a potential terrorist attack in the Sandton area – reportedly this weekend – South Africans have been having a field day with the news on social media.

And many think the news is a downright joke. From Twitter memes to TikTok skits, it’s clear Mzansi is not taking the warning seriously.

Coconut Kelz has joined in on the action – sharing a clip encouraging others to “escape” the looming terrorist attack

The video – titled “Get ready with me – terrorism edition” – sees the influencer flee Johannesburg.

She says: “First things first, you have to book a flight and get the H out of Dodge”

She adds: “Unfortunately, all we have is economy class because it is really expensive and there is no fuel.

Warning others, Coconut Kelz quips: “Check the coast is clear…Remember it’s Diwali, and they’re everywhere”.

Finally, she adds: “And take off your wig, you’re safe in Cape Town. Oh my gosh, what a relief!”

LASIZWE JOINS IN ON THE FUN TOO

It’s not just Coconut Kelz who is taking the news of a terrorist attack with a pinch of salt

Fellow influencer and YouTuber Lasizwe has also poked fun at the alert with a clip of his own

In a skit posted on social media, the vlogger and a pal are seen dancing whilst the sounds of bombs go off in the background.

Fittingly, Beyonce’s Break My Soul is the track he believes fits the less-than-terrifying terrorist ordeal.

Seemingly referring to Joburg’s Pride Parade, Lasizwe captioned the clip: “This will be us on Saturday in Sandton. Come rain or shine, bomb or no bomb!”
