Sunday movie: M-Net Movie ‘Gemini Man’

Gemini Man Plot

Henry Brogan is an elite 51-year-old assassin who’s ready to call it quits after completing his 72nd job. His plans get turned upside down when he becomes the target of a mysterious operative who can seemingly predict his every move.

To his horror, Brogan soon learns that the man who’s trying to kill him is a younger, faster, cloned version of himself.

Edge of Tomorrow Plot

When Earth falls under attack from invincible aliens, no military unit in the world is able to beat them. Maj. William Cage, an officer who has never seen combat, is assigned to a suicide mission.

Killed within moments, Cage finds himself thrown into a time loop, in which he relives the same brutal fight, and his death, over and over again. However, Cage’s fighting skills improve with each encore, bringing him and a comrade ever closer to defeating the aliens.

After a workplace shooting in New Orleans, a trial against the gun manufacturer pits lawyer Wendell Rohr against shady jury consultant Rankin Fitch, who uses illegal means to stack the jury with people sympathetic to the defense.

But when juror Nicholas Easter and his girlfriend, Marlee, reveal their ability to sway the jury into delivering any verdict they want, a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game begins.
