‘I am humbled’: SA donates to BI Phakathi Foundation
Although Mzansi is showing philanthropist and motivational speaker BI Phakathi love, others are claiming it might be a scam.

‘Givers are not good with receiving,’ filmmaker and philanthropist BI Phakathi told his followers who have been reaching out to him for his banking details after he bared his soul and opened up about his financial state.
BI PHAKATHI OPENS UP ABOUT HIS FINANCIAL SITUATION
The popular faceless Good Samaritan took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, 3 October, to share that he is currently broke and needed prayers as he was not coping.
“This assignment is bigger than me. Right now, I am broke I have used all resources to spread the good news and fight poverty. Please pray for me if you can,” Phakathi wrote.

His mentions were quickly flooded with messages of goodwill and prayers. Others asked the motivational speaker for his banking details in order to donate to his cause.
A humbled Phakathi wote: “Thank you for the love. To support the work to the foundation. Please use the office account. BI Phakathi Foundation ABSA Account # 4095363996, Branch Code 632005. Your kindness is highly appreciated. I am a shy person to personally ask for help.”

SA DONATES
Before he knew it, SA started donating.
One X user shared a screenshot of their R250 donation, while another share that they had donated R2000. Others did not disclosed the amounts.
Expressing gratitude, Phakathi said: “Thank you for the love family. I ask for prayers to keep me going, and you want to donate to the assignment. Givers are not good with receiving. Please be patient with a brother I push this work with no sponsors on video but faith to keep it real. I am humbled and forever grateful for the love you are showing. I love you all one by one.”

SCAM?
However, some X users are worried that Phakathi may be hacked as his Instagram and Facebook accounts have been functioning normally and sharing the usual content.
