All across the country offices are engaging in small Christmas gestures to help employees enjoy a bit of festive. One of the many things they are doing is a Secret Santa gift exchange which usually comes with a small budget for everyone. While it’s mostly a great gesture, one woman was let down when she received an onion and tomato from one of her colleagues.
Heading online, she shared a photo of the unusual gift which also came with a box of tacos shells. In the comment section many laughed heartily as they discussed how broke this secret Santa must be.

Woman disappointed by onion and tomato secret Santa gift
It’s that time of the year again when employees get to let their hair down and enjoy a drink with their bosses at the annual Christmas party.
One of the traditions at many companies is the Secret Santa gift exchange.
Employees are usually given the name of one of their colleagues for who they are then responsible for gifting.
The gifting is however anonymous — hence the term “secret Santa”.
One woman is, however, on a mission to find out who in their office decided to gift her an onion, tomato and box of taco shells.
Hilariously, she took to X to share a photo of her gift and has since gone viral.
“Guys. They did a random secret Santa at my work (where you pick a number and get an item) and look what I got… tell me this isn’t idiotic behaviour,” she wrote.

In the comment section, many laughed out loud as they discussed the peculiar gift.
“Work Secret Santa’s are such a waste of time honestly because what is this?! Lol” one person wrote while another said:
“Report to HR please. They must reveal that person identity.”
