Miss Pru, a longest-serving member of the Ambitiouz Entertainment stable, has parted ways with the independent label.

“The last seven (7) years with Ambitiouz Entertainment have been an incredible journey, I have evolved so much as an artist and as a person and none of which would have been possible without extraordinary support from the team.”

Born Prudence Sebalo, the Price to Pay hitmaker explained her reasons to split with the label she was three years shy of celebrating a decade with.

She said: “Over the past couple of months I took a bit of a break from being active in making music and had taken this much deserved to re-energize and redefine my artistic expression in a way that allows me to give the best I can to my supporters”.

“Ambitiouz Entertainment played a big role in my career and so it is not an easy decision to announce my departure from the label. Myself and Ambitiouz Entertainment have amicably consented to part ways and I will forever be grateful for all their hard work and the value they’ve added to my brand,” she added.

“A heartfelt thank you to Mr Mahumapelo, the entire team and label mates. You have been amazing and I couldn’t have wished for a better foundation to launch my career,” she said.

Under the label, Miss Pru had an amazing run, bagging collaborations with the hottest MCs and groups in the stable in all eras such as A-Reece, Emtee, Sjava, Blaq Diamond and Malome Vector, to release smashing hot songs.

Miss Pru is behind hits like uHulumeni, Ameni, Isaga Lam, Phumelela and Chillisi.

To continue enjoying bookings and other business engagements, she has since redirected her bookings to her own channels.
