Makro entered our weekly basket comparison triumphantly last week, shooting right to the top of the board. Was it a fluke or is Makro still offering the best prices for cash-strapped consumers in SA? Ultimately, we want to enrich the lives of our audience, because why should you pay higher prices at one retailer when you can save a little somewhere else? For all you Food Lover’s Market fans out there, please note that we are in the process of adding the retailer. So stay tuned. However, in Week 41 of 2023, who comes out on top between Makro, Checkers, Pick n Pay, Shoprite and Woolworths?
