Former Miss SA Zozibini Tunzi has shared an embarrassing moment with the public and according to her, there’s way more where that came from. Tunzi said she has “bags and bags” of embarrassing moments but the one she referred to on Wednesday took place when she was still Miss SA.

Tunzi explained that Miss SA usually hosts a farewell event for the outgoing crown, so to speak. She said lots of media were present to hold interviews with her. On the farewell day, she said they usually do an unveiling of the national costume which was extremely bulky and heavy.

Tunzi said the former Miss SA, who was crowned back in 2015, Liesl Laurie hosted the event but while she was being a good host and focusing on the crowd, Tunzi was behind her struggling with the weight of the national costume.

“This thing is mad heavy okay, it’s heavy and I’m not the biggest person, I’m very tiny and I had to carry this weight, literally on my shoulders. Because it was so heavy they made a hook thing so that it sat on my shoulders.”

Tunzi says that while Liesl was giving praises to the costume, the hooks that were on her shoulders popped off. “The costume literally falls off my body,” she said.

Tunzi then goes on to describe Liesl and the crowd and giggles throughout. It really is a must-see video.

“We are human after all,” she concluded.
