You’ve been asking when season two of Blood & Water will return to Netflix. While we can’t give an exact release date yet, we can confirm that the cast is on set and working hard on the next season.

‘Blood & Water’ season 2 confirmed

Netflix also confirmed that new characters will be joining the Blood & Water cast when the second season returns later this year.

“The new kids on the block will be adding a little (extra) fire to the storyline as we see them involved in scandalous behaviour and the lives of the Parkhurst students are turned upside down”.

Some of the new additions to cast include Leroy Siyafa who portrays Sam, “a new love interest mixing things up in the Parkhurst after school scene”. Sam will most definitely be breaking hearts both off, but will happen when the cameras roll?

Meet the new characters on ‘Blood & Water’

Netflix promises that we’ll get to know Reece (portrayed by Greteli Fincham) a bit better in season two, as well as two of her friends, Pauline and Zayd, played by Katishcka Chanderlal and Alzavia Abrahams.

Drama ahead because “these three get up to no good and have a great time doing so but the question is, will they get caught out?” While we’re excited about all the new faces, you can rest assured that all our old faves will be returning.

“Our Blood & Water family is growing, we can’t wait to see what havoc and fun they bring to our screens in 2021”.

Blood & Water storyline

At Parkhurst College, a prestigious inner-city school for Cape Town’s elite scholars and academic overachievers, we follow the exploits of the intelligent, proactive and impulsive 16- year-old Puleng Khumalo.

She engineered her transfer to the school to investigate the 17-year-old cold case of her older sister, who was abducted-at-birth.
