The holiday season is here, giving you more time to spend quality time with your friends. For those days, you need a snack to go with the tea or coffee that you’re serving. This simple jam Swiss roll recipe is so easy to put together and will have all of the sweetness you’ve been looking for, after taking lots of pictures.

The cake batter is your classic vanilla cake flavour but you can also use your own chocolate or caramel cake recipe if the batter is runny enough. Spread your choice of jam, like strawberry, apricot, mixed berries or even caramel to fill the roll. However, roll it up while still slightly warm so that it doesn’t break. Serve with some tea or coffee.
