Is coffee or tea time anything special without a snack? One of the most iconic additions to these wanderous times with friends is the scone but they can be very tricky to make. However, these easy custard scones are still light and fluffy with that crumble we all know and love which means you should really try this recipe.
THe custard adds a bit of richness without overpowering the flavour, which is why it works so well here. When mixing, don’t overmix, otherwise you’ll have very dense biscuits. Top them with your regular favourites like butter and cheese, or jam and whipped cream. They’re perfect for breakfast or a tea time snack.
