South Africa really does do snacks well. One of the most popular snacks out there is of course, droëwors, or dried sausage. This cured meat product is very easy to make at home and you also get a chance to get nice and creative with your recipe.
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t want low quality meat as high-quality products always produce the best results. The combination of spices and curing provides you with that iconic “snap” when you break or bite into it.
