South Africans really do love cooking for each other and when we can use pots and cook over an open fire, it’s even better. Did you know that you can make a pie on your braai? This Chicken braai pot pie is everything you could ask for with creamy chicken filling and golden brown crust.
This recipe uses both dark and white chicken meat with fresh vegetables that will bring all of the flavour to the table. Making your own homemade pot pie puff pastry is easy and you don’t need much time to do it. You can cook this tasty pie on your braai with a lid and the smokey flavour really brings a new level to the recipe.
