Recipe of the Day: Butterfly prawns with garlic butter [Video]

When you want a simple meal with your family, seafood is a great way to go. When you want all of the flavour of the seafood, you don’t want to add too many ingredients and we all love a simple garlic butter. These butterfly prawns with garlic butter sauce is a true classic recipe that you can make at home and serve to a big or small group of people.

Butterlying the prawns helps you clean them up but also speeds up cooking. You can keep most of the shells on or remove them. The rice is at its best when you’ve added some turmeric and mixed frozen vegetables which are easy, colourful and tasty additions to the dish. The prawns take just a few minutes to cook and you can serve them with even more of the garlic butter on the side.
