Everybody enjoys a great dessert, don’t they? But, not everybody has the time to make something from scratch. For this Gravel Fridge Tart, you might already have all of the ingredients already stored in your fridge or pantry. With some butter, cream, fruit and 2 packets of biscuits, you will have a delicious dessert ready in no-time.

The preparation for the Gravel Fridge Tart is done in 20 minutes and most of the work will be just whipping cream if you’re doing it by hand. After layering each tasty section, you will need to wait for it to set in the fridge, but we can promise, it’s worth it! Let the recipe be your guide. You can use any type of fruit you think will be good with this dessert. The same goes for the type of biscuits you use. We do suggest letting this tasty dessert set in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Ingredients

  • 125 ml melted butter

  • 1 packet cream filled white biscuits (crushed)

  • 1 packet chocolate cream filled biscuits (crushed)

  • 250 ml whipped cream

  • 125 ml caramel treat

  • strawberries

Method

  • Mix the white crushed biscuits with the butter. Press into the bottom of a tart dish.
  • Spread a layer of caramel on the crust.
  • Spread a layer of cream
  • Sprinkle a layer of the dark crumbs over the cream
  • Repeat step 2 to 4. Garnish with fresh strawberries
  • Place in the fridge for about 2 hours to set.
