Sometimes you have to make dinner parties a bit fancier, especially when it’s date night or when you’re trying to impress the boss. Both crème caramel and crème brûlée are of French origin but whereas crème caramel has a layer of clear caramel sauce when turned over, crème brûlée is custard with a hard caramel layer on top.
This recipe has a couple of steps that are easier to get through than you think, but afterwards will make you feel like you belong in MasterChef or in the kitchen of a fancy restaurant. This delicious dessert is velvet-soft and each bite melts in your mouth encouraging you to take another one. The addition of lime and mint add so much flavour to this traditional dessert.
