The summer heat is beating down on South African soil as the festive season draws closer. However, there are some exciting thunderstorms with rain and a nip in the air. Do you want to celebrate the holiday season with your family and friends with a delicious cocktail that tastes like the season? With cinnamon, cloves, star anise and the zest, we have a drink that hits all of those notes. The Christmas Spiced Tea Negroni is a warm, beautiful gin with a twist on one of the oldest cocktails in the world.

A classic negroni cocktail usually only has gin, sweet vermouth and Campari. Our negroni goes a bit lighter on the alcohol without Campari, but you can still add it in if you want to. Spiced hibiscus tea adds the flavours of Christmas with star anise, cinnamon and cloves. To make your simple syrup, add equal cups of sugar and water to a pot and simmer until the sugar is combined. This simple syrup lasts for a month in the fridge too. A warm Christmas Spiced Tea Negroni is what you need for your holiday with the ones you care about.
