Ntombifuthi Dlamini is a celebrated South African best known for her bubbly on-screen character of Gladys Mam Madlala on South Africa’s most-watched drama series Uzalo.
No doubt, her on-screen character of Mam Madlala has wowed many. She was cast as a Christian widow with a weakness in dating young men, best known as Ben 10s.

Reports have it that Ntombifuthi’ Mam Madlala’ Dlamini was a janitor at a local hospital in Durban. However, in 2014 she had her shot to fame when she auditioned to be an extra on Uzalo.
Despite extras being the least paid, she did her best, and the rest was history. In season 7, she was reportedly offered a main role by Stained Glass Productions because of her unmatched acting flair.
Today she is one of the most celebrated actresses who once made ends meet as a hospital janitor.
