‘Stroke-like symptoms’: Hailey Bieber addresses health concern

Model and wife to Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, was hospitalised after suffering a blood clot in her brain on Thursday last week.

US model Hailey Bieber had fans worried after news of her being hospitalised became public on Thursday 10 March. The 25-year-old, who is married to musician Justin Bieber, opened up about the incident on Instagram letting fans know how she doing after the health scare.

The media personality was rushed to hospital on Thursday morning after she started experiencing “stroke-like symptoms”. She revealed this in a short statement she shared on her Instagram Stories. The statement was later re-shared by her fan account on Twitter.

“On Thursday morning, I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital.”

She further explained  that the doctors found she had suffered “a very small blood clot” to her brain, which caused a lack of oxygen. Thankfully, her body recovered within a few hours of the health scare.

“Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me.”

The model, who’s been featured in major ads for Guess, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger, also thanked those who reached out with support.

According to TMZ, Hailey Bieber’s medical condition may be COVID-related. The publication reports that its sources revealed “doctors ran a battery of tests and are looking to see if the symptoms involve COVID”.

As per the publication, in February Justin Bieber hit a speed bump when he tested positive for COVID-19, causing him to postpone some of his concert dates on his current Justice World Tour.

After his wife’s health scare, the Sorry hitmaker shared a cute picture of the two of them.

“Can’t keep this one down,” he captioned the image.
