BUCKINGHAM PALACE CONFIRMS KING CHARLES IS NOT DEAD

King Charles is alive and well! Buckingham Palace was forced to deny reports that King Charles III died on Monday after Russian media outlets claimed he passed away based on a dubious-looking “announcement”, according to New York Post.

The publication reports that the statement in question claimed that King Charles passed away on Sunday 17 March.

“The following announcement is made by royal communications. The King passed away unexpectedly yesterday afternoon,” read the statement featuring the seal of the British monarch’s official London residence.

The Mirror reports that a screenshot of the fake statement was spread widely in Russia. Buckingham Palace released a statement to the Russian state-run TASS news agency denying the report.

“We are happy to confirm that The King is continuing with official and private business,” read the statement according to New York Post.

UKRAINE’S BRITISH EMBASSAY ALSO DENIES THE ‘FAKE NEWS’

Ukraine’s British embassy also released a statement confirming that King Charles is still alive via their Telegram account, according to Daily Mail.

“Reports about the death of King Charles III of Great Britain are fake,” read the statement.

Daily Mail also reported that the Russian media claimed that King Charles had passed away due to cancer complications. This comes as his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton had been in hot water following her photo editing fiasco.
