Many are wondering about the guest list with the royal coronation date fast approaching. Here’s a look at the 2 000 rich, famous, and well-known guests who will attend the iconic event at Westminster Abbey on 6 May, DailyMail reports.

KING’S CORONATION GUEST LIST REVEALED

In less than two weeks, the world will watch as King Charles III is crowned alongside his wife, Queen Consort Camilla. According to 2 000 guests have been invited to attend.

Breaking from tradition, King Charles has invited several crowned heads of state to attend his coronation.

FOREIGN ROYALS

Here’s a list of royals to attend, according to Town&Country.

  • Monaco: Prince Albert and Princess Charlene
  •  Japan: Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko
  •  Denmark: Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary
  •  Sweden: King Carl XVI Gustav and Crown Princess Victoria
  •  Spain: King Felipe and Queen Letizia
  •  Norway: Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit
  •  Luxembourg: Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Luxembourg
  •  Greece: Queen Anne-Marie and Crown Prince Pavlos
  •  Netherlands: King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima
  •  Māori royals: King Tuheitia and Makau Ariki Atawhai

  •  Canadian Governor-General Mary Simon
  •  Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides
  •  European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen 
  •  Roberta Metsola, president of the European Parliament;
  •  Charles Michel, president of the European Council
  •  President Emmanuel Macron from France
  •  German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier
  •  Italian President Sergio Mattarella 
  •  Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif

According to Town&Country, 850 community, and charity representatives from projects the King and Queen Consort support will also be in attendance. More than 450 British Empire Medal (BEM) recipients will also attend.
