Roderick Jaftha – Where is Glen Majozi from Generations now?

Celebrated actor Roderick Jaftha is best known for his role on Generations as Glen Majozi. He undoubtedly had the plug, and his unmatched flair saw him being the star actor we all love to hate.

His on-screen marriage with Vivian Majozi character played by Faye Peters wowed many despite being marred with cheating and betrayal.

WHAT HAPPENED TO RODERICK JAFTHA?

Against the backdrop of his newfound fame, he kissed his on-screen character goodbye in 2002.

However, in the backdrop of his exit, he starred in several productions, including Villa Rosa, where he played the on-screen character of Dr Anthony Jackson until the show was replaced.

Rumour mill has it that the star actor switched the floor to directing in the backdrop of the replacement, he led several productions, with some for SABC.

However, years later, he became jobless, and everything started falling apart.

RETURNING TO SMALL SCREENS

Roderick Jaftha has it that he had a drastic weight loss, leaving many convinced that alcohol and drugs were taking a toll on him, yet it was stress.

Despite having many contacts at his disposal, the actor has it that pride forced him not to reach out to them for assistance.

However, his lifeline came in the backdrop of Rhythm City, and he had his shot at fame again. Due to his weight loss and years off the hook, viewers took episodes to recognise him.

His gangster role on Rhythm City exposed him to several gigs. Roderick Jaftha has since appeared on Isono and Kings of Jo’burg. Of late, he has kept his private life under wraps, but the star actor is fit as a fiddle.
