Springbok Captain Siya Kolisi has been thrust into top trends with the now-viral portrait photos done in his honour by Rasta the Artist.

Despite the portrait being done in his honour in 2019, it has left Mzansi in stitches as it resurfaced on social media after the dramatic painter shared it on Twitter.

The viral photos have since left many in stitches and trying to connect the dots if it was in honour of the Springbok captain Siya Kolisi or American rapper Usher Raymond.

No doubt this is not the first time Rasta the Artist has made all sorts of headlines with his paintings. Rasta took to social media to share photos of the portrait as he rallied behind the Springboks, who are currently at the Rugby World Cup.

Taking to X, he captioned the photos of the portrait: “Go Bookie Go farewell to da Springboks Champions we all behind you we are waiting for dat trophy once more.”

MZANSI REACTS

However, the photos have since made rounds on social media, and Mzansi has since hilariously reacted to the photos. Here are some comments that flooded social media in the backdrop of the viral pictures.

Stev Ngannda posted: “That’s Sima Komisi.”

The now-viral painting resurfaces a few weeks after Rasta did a portrait of Jessica Motaung, who recently made headlines after her viral photos with the Springbok captain made rounds on social media.
