‘Self assured or plain stupid?’: Amy Kleinhans to Anita on ‘RHOWL’

On the latest episode of the Real Housewives van die Wynlande (RHOWL), which aired on KykNet on Thursday 22 June, Amy Kleinhans-Curd jokingly took an aim at Anita Lloyd when she asked the ladies about their opinion of her entering Survivor.

AMY KLEINHANS-CURD: ‘SELF-ASSURED OR JUST PLAIN STUPID’

The first woman of colour to win Miss SA (1994) Amy Kleinhans-Curd was in stitches after Anita Llloyd, wife of former KWV CEO Bryce Lloyd revealed that she was interested in entertaining Survivor. This was while the ladies were on a vacation in Mauritius.

The ladies were not aware that Anita was joking when she asked for their opinions.

“While I don’t really want to hear your opinion right now but for the simple reason that I know you will be there for me and support me… but if I’m now going to compete on Survivor… do you think I can?” she asked the ladies.

Why all the ladies were laughing, Amy went on to ask Anita if she was “self assured or plain stupid?”

“Are you self-assured or just plain stupid?” asks Amy.

ANITA LLOYD: ‘SHE WAS ACTUALLY A BIT NASTY ABOUT IT’

In a confessional, Anita revealed that it was a heartfelt joke. However, Amy was already trying to explain herself.

“Amy thought I was serious. She was actually a bit nasty about it,” she said in a confessional.

In her confessional, Amy noted that she had used the wrong word because Anita is “highly intelligent”.

“I definitely used the wrong word because she is highly intelligent. 

Trying to save herself – Amy then told Anita that she is smart in her head but physically not so much? As she gestured.
