Talented actress Letoya Makhene-Pulumo opens up about leaving SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy as Tshidi Moroka-Phakade in 2021.

WHY ACTRESS LEFT ‘GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY’

The Home Wrecker actress Letoya Makhene-Pulumo tells TshisaLIVE that she chose to focus on her other talents and didn’t leave Generations: The Legacy on bad terms.

The actress, who just landed a role in a Netflix film adds that she absolutely loves film and this is why she made a decision to leave Generations: The Legacy.

“Not because I didn’t enjoy it or I didn’t appreciate the platform that I had. We are talking about working 12-hour days and that is outside early morning, when you wake up and when you put those together. (https://cashcofinancial.com) We are literally working for 16 hours.”

The singer also revealed that soapie stars are learning scripts over and over and have no life outside that soapie.

She’s been blessed with many other gifts as she’s a singer, a traditional healer, a songwriter and many other different talents that she needed to get in touch with.

LETOYA MAKHENE-PULUMO LATEST ROLE

The former Generations: The Legacy actress Letoya Makhene-Pulumo recently secured the role of a damaged woman Kenzie Miyeni in Netflix film Home Wrecker.

She tells Sowetan reports that the show is an exciting and super intense movie filled with many twists and turns and people who have been in relationships that matter to them will be able to relate to the film.

The actress adds that she’s grateful to have landed the role as her fans will be able to see her range as an actress.

The film is focused on Makhene-Pulumo’s character Kenzie Miyeni, who is on a mission to steal Tamara Olpihant’s (played by Mbali Mlotshwa) life.
