During an interview with KFM, Minnie Dlamini revealed that her career was not doing so well recently and that it had been affected by negative social media comments. She blamed trolls for blocking her bag and securing new jobs.

According to TshisaLive the TV presenter said that the false rumours on her name caused her an enormous amount of hurt and frustration. Dlamini said that she would read the terrible messages about her online and tried her best to deal with them as logically as she could possibly do so.

“I won’t lie. I’ve lost a lot of business as a result of people making up stories about me…

“People need to be a lot more cognizant that their words have power and you can destroy livelihoods and homes on statements that aren’t true,” the report quoted her as saying.

The beautiful and bubbly media personality was Mzansi’s ultimate girl-next-door all the way until she announced her divorce to Quinton Jones in May 2022.

The estranged couple first released a joint statement where they declared that their split was amicable. But soon after social media users learned that the picture-perfect couple were going their separate ways, the good-girl image of Minnie Dlamini came crashing down.

Savanna News reported Jones later changed his mind and revealed that one of their marriage’s downfall was that his stunning estranged wife had been involved in extra-marital affairs.

Dlamini had made her money from radio presenting on Metro FM, TV presenting alongside Lungile Radu on Super Sport Homeground and more. Many people on social media never expected that the fancy lifestyle that she portrayed on social media would be any different even after she separated with Jones.

However, that perspective quickly changed when controversial blogger Musa Khawula dropped files on the media personality personal life and allegedly said that she was being financed by businessman Edwin Sodi. According to the Khawula, Sodi was allegedly responsible for pampered Dlamini with lavish trips and other expensive gifts.

The blogger added that the media personality bagged her jobs by sleeping with the big guns at these media companies. Khawula added that this was actually one of the main reasons that her marriage collapsed.
