Billionaire businessman Vivian Reddy, the husband of ‘Real Housewives of Durban’ star Sorisha Naidoo says he’s not Visvin Reddy.

VIVIAN REDDY: ‘WE ARE TWO DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS’

The KwaZulu-Natal businessman Vivian Reddy also denies claims that he’s affiliated with MK Party’s Visvin Reddy.

Vivian also rubbishes reports that he is funding political parties ahead of this year’s elections.

“Greetings, I am Vivian Reddy. I want to address recent confusion surrounding my name and clarify a few things. Firstly, this confusion due to the similarity of my name and that of a politician named Visvin Reddy. Although our names are alike, we are two different people.”

“There are certain devious, propaganda social media accounts that have been spreading misinformation, claiming that I am funding or establishing political parties. I deny these baseless allegations as fake news,” he says in the video.

WHO IS VISVIN REDDY?

TimesLIVE reports that Visvin Reddy, who’s been confused with Vivian Reddy is a new uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK Party) which was registered in September 2023. The party gained traction after former president Jacob Zuma endorsed it.

Visvin formed the African Democtratic Change (ADeC) in 2020 after entering the political arena in 1993 as a founding member of the Minority Front.

He joined the DA for two months and left the party for the ANC, where he spent a decade before recently joining the MK Party.

The 54-year-old politician recently made headlines when he was charged for allegedly inciting violence in a recent social media post. 

Mercury reports that the Former African Democratic Change leader Visvin Reddy last month threatened civil war should his party not make it onto the ballot paper. He also demanded that the ANC should drop its court cases against MKP.
