LIBERTY WALK BMW I8 PHOTOS TREND

Taking to social media, rtmexotic_photography posted the Liberty of Walk BMW i8 and captioned the post, “The One & Only Liberty Walk BMW i8 In SA.” No doubt petrolheads have been trying to connect the dots about the car’s owner.

However, many were quick to implicate South African businessman, investor, and entrepreneur Zunaid Moti into the equation. He has been tagged on several posts of the sleek Liberty of Walk BMW i8, leaving many convinced that he might be the owner.

He has a soft spot for some of the world’s finest cars and has an impressive collection to show for it. However, he hasn’t openly confirmed the car as his. The body kit only costs around R304 000, leaving many to guess its total price tag after a makeover.

The 2017 BMW i8 eDrive Coupe is reportedly on sale at AutoTrader. Surprisingly, it has no price tag attached to it. BMW made 20 465 units of the iconic hybrid sports car. However, 16 581 were coupes, and 3 884 units were Roadsters.

MAKING HEADLINES

However, this is not the first sleek BMWs have hogged headlines this year. In February, an R2.8 million 2024 BMW i7 was spotted in South Africa. There are two models of the 2024 BMW i7 – the i7 xDrive60 M Sport and the i7 M70 xDrive.

The 2024 BMW i7 redefines the flagship sedan experience and is considerably more expensive than similar offerings from Porsche and Tesla. The Sedan can reach 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. It boasts of comfort, luxury and speed.

However, in 2023, five new BMW Alpina B3 were shipped to South Africa as part of BMW South Africa celebrations. BMW celebrated 50 years of operation in South Africa with five BMW B3s. The cars were exclusively made for South Africa as a special-edition 3 Series.
