South African billionaire Johann Rupert is topping trends after the Springboks allegedly visited his farm in the Western Cape during their trophy tour. The Springboks have been celebrating their 2023 Rugby World Cup win with the rest of Mzansi.
Against the win, the Boks had a trophy tour, but some fans were left disgruntled after their provinces were excluded.

SPRINGBOKS’ ALLEGED VISIT TO JOHANN RUPERTS FARM DIVIDES MZANSI
Against the exclusion, the Springboks’ alleged visit to Johann Rupert’s farm has set social media abuzz. Unconfirmed reports have it that the billionaire Johann Rupert allegedly received the Springboks at his private farm on Saturday while the team was on a trophy tour in the Western Cape.
No doubt the news has since thrust the Springboks into top trends. However, both parties are yet to confirm the news.

In the backdrop of the reports, several political wigs have since taken a swipe at the Springboks, with EFF leader Julius Malema being the most vocal. This is not the first time the celebrated billionaire has hosted the Springboks after World Cup heroics.
In 2019, he hosted the Springboks for a private braai after winning the ninth edition of the tournament in Japan.

MZANSI REACTS
Taking to X, formerly Twitter controversial commentator @ali_naka posted: “Dear Springboks supporters. Why did your team take the Trophy to Johan Rupert’s Farm? Yet they didn’t even visit Limpopo, Mpumalanga, NW, Northern Cape, etc.”
No doubt South Africans flooded his comments section with their two cents.
