The debate between Siya Kolisi and Richie McCaw on who the best captain is sparks some fire on Instagram.
Rugby has seen many great captains, but few have won the World Cup twice. Only the two, Springboks’ captain Siya Kolisi and the All Blacks retired captain Richie McCaw.

During his playing days, Richie was dubbed one of the best leaders in world rugby.
Surprisingly, McCaw did not lead the Haka most of the time, but his leadership on the pitch was exceptional. He went on to win two successive Rugby World Cups in 2011 and 2015.

This is the same as the Springbok’s current captain, who lifted it in 2019 and 2023.
