An unknown couple is trending after splurging millions on two sleek Rolls-Royces. Undoubtedly, social media was abuzz after photos and videos of the couple at a popular Sandton dealership went viral.

The now-viral videos and photos have gained thousands of comments and reactions online.

COUPLE BUYS TWO ROLLS-ROYCES WORTH OVER R5 MILLION

The clip was first shared with Pharoah Auto before it went viral. Taking it to social media, the car dealership posted, “As far as surprises go, it doesn’t get much better than this!! Not One but Two Rolls-Royces side by side.”

The car dealership added, “Rolls Royce Ghost & Silver Spirit II, We live for these special moments we get to share with clients. Thank you, sir, for your many years of support and friendship.”

Against the trends, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots about the couple. However, popular X user Thuso alleged the couple that bought two Rolls-Royces was among the three lucky winners of the R131 million Powerball jackpot.

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that three entries had won the R131 million jackpot, and the winnings would be split three ways. Rumour mill has it that they are from Bolobedu, Limpopo. However, against the trends, the couple has yet to confirm the rumours.

Surprisingly, the man had his back turned to the camera throughout, and many were more than convinced that he was keeping his identity under wraps. Could this be one of the biggest surprises this year?

PRICE TAGS OF THE TWO ULTRA-SEDANS

On the other hand, petrolheads gave their purchase a nod, but how much did they splurge on these two sleek beauties? The two Rolls-Royce ultra-sedans boast vintage and exclusivity.

The Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit was produced from 1980 to 1997. It is the first car to feature a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy. On the other hand, Andreas Thurner and Charles Coldhamd designed the Rolls-Royce Ghost series. It boasts a 6.6 litre turbocharged V12 engine.

The sleek sedans’ prices have undoubtedly ballooned over the years because of their exclusivity, and several dealerships worldwide sell them on a POA condition. However, most of these rare cars have been sold through private auctions.

Despite Pharoah Auto keeping the prices under wraps, Mzansi has managed to connect the dots about the price tags of the car. A Rolls-Royce Ghost has a base price tag of R5 million in several dealerships in South Africa. However, the Silver Spirit model has a base price tag of R540 000 in several dealerships worldwide.
