‘SEEMS RUSHED’: FANS ON CASSPER NYOVEST’S ALLEGED WEDDING AFTER-PARTY
Cassper Nyovest — real name Refiloe Phoolo, tied the knot with his childhood friend Pulane Mojaki this past weekend. This comes after his wedding invitation was leaked online in March, ECR reported.
Responding to the rumours at the time, the rapper took to social media and was quoted as saying: “You’re just like me. I also found out online. They chose the date and venue for me and invited me to my own wedding. Let me know if you find anything.”
The 33-year-old Doc Shebeleza hitmaker was recently spotted at what has been reported to be his wedding, being blessed with his wife by Kwaito star-turned pastor Kabelo Malabane. The low-key affair was attended by the couple’s close friends and family members.
According to TshisaLIVE, several other local celebrities, including DJ Vettys, were also invited to witness the couple exchange their vows. Actor and comedian Primo Baloyi also revealed that he was the MC of the day, adding that he received his invitation months ago.
In a recent post shared on X, it’s alleged that Nyovest and his wife had their after-party at Mix Lounge & Restaurant. The Mafikeng-based lounge has also posted several videos from the night on their Facebook page. Meanwhile, fans and social media users have voiced that the after-party looked rather “low-budget” and “rushed”.
Nonetheless, Nyovest has since taken to his Instagram and posted the first picture with his wife on his feed. “Jesus, you are my anchor. It’s all about you!!! It always has been, and it always will be. Thank you for choosing me, using me and fuelling me,” he captioned.
